If you are a fan of the independent music scene you're missing out if you haven't checked out IndieMV.com. IndieMV is a great site to connect indie music artists and fans, or as they put it: IndieMV - Musical Intercourse. The site offers tools such as video blogging, web-cam messaging, photo sharing, as well as access to music videos, interviews, and much more. One really neat feature I liked about this site is the slider tool; this feature helps you narrow down your search results so you only have to look through ones that match your interests!
In addition to what they already offer, IndieMV is hosting a "UNITE AGAINST AIDS Video Contest" in support of UNICEF's Unite for Children, Unite Against AIDS campaign. This contest will give Canadians the chance to express their thoughts about the impact of HIV/AIDS through music or video.
